ASCENDO Immersive Audio cooperates with the Sound and Interaction Competence Center of the University of Ansbach in researching the healing and relaxing effects of audiovisually transmitted natural scenarios under laboratory conditions.
Indispensable for this international study is an audio reproduction quality that cannot be differentiated from the real recording situation and that allows for an perpetually unaltered repetition.
This requires the development of special recording methods, as well as the processing and transfer of the acquired audio data into surround sound (immersive audio) formats.
The associated conception and provision of the loudspeakers, the loudspeaker setups and the room acoustics is the main focus of the AIA GmbH.
