Either way as a stereo amplifier, or as a mono amplifier, the Ascendo amps offer a very, very high sonic equivalent value. Even uncalibrated to the individual application, the power amps like to please thanks to a balanced-long-term tonality, great dynamics and depth imaging, additionally ennobled by its special talent for a three-dimenisonally concise imaging of the music. And the individual calibration to the respective room acoustics situation should in nearly all cases imply an additional step forward. Given the asked purchase price, I currently do not know any power amplifier, that I could recommend warmer. Cheaper and flexibly far more customizable the DNA1000.2 HE are anyway.
